Wall Street is gonna do whatever it takes to make more money, and the truth of the matter is---almost all of the politicians, regardless of party, are owned by Wall Street and K Street.

And, the only thing that will change that is when "we the people" start a new revolution.

They always do when the economy starts to get better.

I have no problem with lowering rates now, though. It may cause some inflation, but a recession will hit the middle and lower classes harder than the upper class. It always does.
