Is there a progressive scorecard site?
Can anyone direct me to a progressive scorecard comparing the candidates?

Thanks!

(What a great site this is!)

1. Google? The US Senate site? On the Issues? The New York Times?
A SCORECARD? You're joking, right?

12. A scorecard with short statements about each candidate's position on key issues.
That's what I would like to see.

2. I think there are different scorecards for different organizations/issues...
Caucus4Priorities Scorecard Caucus4Priorities is a non-profit 501(c)4 organization dedicated to educating the public about the inequities of our current federal budget. We aim to redirect 15% of the Pentagon’s discretionary budget away from obsolete Cold War weapons towards education, healthcare, job training, alternative energy development, world hunger, deficit reduction. This 15% cut, or $60 billion dollars, on obsolete weapons systems and the further proliferation of nuclear weapons does not include the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and in no way impacts homeland security or our defense. We have the money; let’s spend it on sensible priorities!

I know I've seen scorecards for ecology, women's issues, progressive voting...

8. It compares Obama & Clinton, but not Edwards...
Sort (alpha by surname)-----------Economic-----Social-----Foreign-----Liberal
Obama, Barack, D-Ill.---------------87-----------77---------85----------86
Clinton, Hillary Rodham, D-N.Y.-----63-----------80---------62---------70.2

11. Yeah, it's from 2006 records, iirc. Edwards wasn't in the Senate.

16. Even with candidates dropping out, it would be cool to see adoption of positions.
Maybe some of the better positions from Biden and Dodd will be adopted by the top three.

15. Ideally, something that looks at all candidates is what I'm looking for.

9. The Dem candidates who have a Congressional voting record are there.
Governors aren't included. The National Journal's focus is established voting records in Congress.

Hope that helps.

10. It helps some.
I'd like to see all candidates compared, though.

13. here's one
this organization, the Patrick Henry Democratic Club of Orange County, Calif., takes into account votes not generally covered by other trackers, i.e, cloture votes, which are key to closing debate on bills, killing filibusters and advancing Bu$h's agenda; judicial votes - Bu$h stole the elections, why vote to confirm his life-time judicial appointments; amendments - some trackers may not do amendments

if offers some helpful insight and balance when looking at other scorecards
