Stinky Sez: Edwards in Iowa
Not my first choice. In fact, no one is my first choice; I am steadfastly undecided.

As I sense it in my sciatica and my war wounded knee (<--- jokes) Edwards has the big mo, Obama and Clinton generate too much doubt.

I also think if he wins big enough in Iowa, he could sweep the first four.

Sadly, I think both Dodd and Biden will drop out after New Hampshire if not after Iowa. I shall miss them both as they are both, to me personally, ahead of Obama, Clinton, or Edwards.

1. I think you're right on Edwards, but hope you're wrong on Biden.

2. I believe Edwards has the best chance of being elected in the general so I at the moment support him
if I was looking from my heart I would be going with Joe Biden as I think he is the best suited for the world situation we are in today but Joe would also make a good SOS or any number of position in an Edwards administration so his not being elected as President is not in itself a total loss. I'm a yellow dog down and dirty Democrat who can barely, in my older life stand to be around, a re:puke: anymore. A lot about our candidates will already be said by the time I get to vote in the Primary but vote I will.

3. I agree a=bout Bidena nd would add Dodd to your calculus
In terms of today's world demands in US president, these two are probably the best choice we could make from the current field.

Sadly, neither has a good chance.

4. The sad truth is that if you are a dem., you get ONE chance
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 05:59 PM by SoCalDem
and they have tried before. For a party that claims to be about fairness and equality, we do not give too many second chances..

Look at all the ones who were elected on the second or third try?? chirp chirp chirp

FDR first try
Kennedy first try
Carter first try
Clinton first try

6. No argument
My comments were directed at the current field.

My favorite isn't there. Who is my favorite? I'll know him when she appears on the scene.

5. I heard a rumor that Gore was going to jump in at exactly 7 tonight. Go Al!
Yes, I'm being an asshole again. I like Biden. I think he could win the biggest of any Democratic candidate. Therefor we won't nominate him.

9. With 25% in, Edwards is ahead by one point
Edwards at 33%

Clinton and Obama at 32%

VERY close.
