telling David Frost that Osama Bin Laden is dead. given the Pakistan connections of Bin Laden wouldn't she be in a position to know more about him? Why was Schultz so vigorous in his attempt to discredit the caller?

10. Ed though that Bernie Kerik was a good pick for DHS director, for a couple of days.

He flipped flopped when the MSM started looking at some of Bernie's nefarious dealings.

For several weeks a while ago Ed was in hyper Lou Dobbs mode, saying that immigration is the #1 issue for Americans this coming election, and hammering the topic day in and day out. THEN some Zogby/AP polls came out indicating that immigration was #5 or #6 in most American's priorities this coming election.

Instantly, Ed switched to his constant Tweety-like obsession against Hillary and Bill Clinton that he's had recently. Immigration is off Ed's map now.

Schultz traditional "american male" persona appeals to many people. He also has some significant stake in the status quo as a vehicle for his success. He tries to control conversation by reminding of hiis power to hang up. still a power over guy.

His style is too Limbaughesque, IMO. Why he gets such a good time slot in the SF Bay Area is beyond me. I'll tune in to hear what his callers have to say, though. He gets a few cranks, but most of them are pretty informed.
