3. There was an interesting letter in todays local newspaper.

The writer reminded everyone that the day we now call Christmas was celebrated long before there were Christians. The tree, presents etc. were adapted by Christians and are not biblical.

5. Tell you just how asinine this can get...today

or maybe yesterday, some people on the metro said Merry Christmas to some Jewish men. The men acknowledged it and said Happy Hanukkah. Whereby the men jumped up and started hitting and kicking and beating the Jewish guys up. Two Muslims on the metro came to the Jewish guys rescue and chased the offenders off.

First, of all the people on the metro the Muslims were the only ones to come to the rescue of these Jewish guys.

Second, the Jewish guys said they could not understand why the acknowledged Merry Christmas and thought they would be good neighbors and give them their greeting.
