7. Apparently, Harriet knew about the CIA tapes being destroyed.
Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 08:10 PM by Fridays Child
Also, some members of Congress knew of the tapes' existence and warned the CIA not to destroy them. So, a lot of people knew about these tapes but we're supposed to believe that Bush didn't know anything.

8. Miers was told about the tapes and told CIA
not to destroy them (so they say). The drip drip drip of the lies and cover ups are about to become a tsunami of exposures.

12. Harriet
Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 08:15 PM by malaise
apparently did not tell Bush -malaise blinks her eyes in disbelief.
Kaytal says this is extremely damaging to the administration as it looks like the tapes were destroyed after a judge asked for them and during 9/11 hearings.

Among the crimes - destroying evidence, Obstruction of justice lying to oversight committees

Kaytal gives us the number of the Federal crime - this calls for a serious investigation a la Patrick Fitzgerald.

Oh Happy Day. Is this finally checkmate? This is huge.

Lawdropping - KO has great headlines - scandal after scandal says Kaytal. Toss the rule book out - we are above the law.

Sp. add.

15. For it to be truly over...
Won't Congress have to take SOME action? Like decide to impeach? That's NOT NOT NOT ever going to happen.

Just my opinion. I've no faith in Congress.
