American media SPIN regarding a referendum in Venezuela
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 05:36 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd

There you have it. "Chavez for life", and with the necessary Fox News patented question mark as well!

There are several countries in the world without term limits. It doesn't make their democratically elected representatives dictators or presidents "for life".

If you wonder where the negative perceptions of Chavez come from, look no further than your television set.

1. The TV News Media continue to give out the appearance
that they are stenographers for the WH. Take Notes and read to us
the WH Line.

CNN. Fredrica Whitfield. Over and Over Chavez is going to cause
your gas prices to go up. Chavez has threatened to cut off Oil
to Us if US Govt. interferes in their election. This is not in
our strategic interest or any other interest.

I often wonder how much real background knowledge these people have.

2. No term limits?
But then Venezuela would be like Britain, Canada, and Australia in having no term limits. So I guess those countries are ruled by dictators for life, too. Thank god we have term limits in the US, because Bush is nothing like a dictator, is he?:sarcasm:

3. Yes, I'm sure France, Germany, and the UK are so much worse off without term limits, unlike the US.
How's that working out for you, America?
