NY Post': Those Who Oppose 'Surge' in Congress Are Guilty of 'Treason'
NEW YORK "TREASON" screamed the front page of the New York Post today, in reaction to Friday's vote in the House of Representatives which easily passed a nonbinding resolution opposing President Bush's troop surge in Iraq. Seventeen Republicans joined the Democrats in that vote.

The Post's Ralph Peters caleld it "the most disgraceful congressional action since the Democratic Party united to defend slavery"-- roughly 150 years ago.

Peters charged, "Providing aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime is treason. It's not 'just politics.' It's treason....

4. We the people are also complicit if we do not establish ...
our right to govern this country. We must make a stand. I am really beginning to doubt if there is enogh time for our broken representational form of Democracy to heal itself. Enough time to stop this madness. How much longer do we suffer this paper tiger before we rise as a Nation and show our true fangs?

9. Shame on the NY Post.. shame on the MSM who aids and abets this
criminal administration. The Post is providing a biased forum for the BushCoup lies and propaganda. They have supported the obscene abuse of power of this administration and by doing so, they have aided in the dismantling of our Constitution.... it is THEY who should be prosecuted for treason.

Remove the AXIS OF EVIL NOW

Bush is Over

12. Since when are the Iraqis our "enemy"?
I thought Bush said we were there to give them freedom -- not fight them.

And now THEY say they don't need us. So it's time to leave.

13. Nothing but emotional garbage
Sometimes they find emotion convenient, as in this case. Other times, as with the scientific report about global warming, it was convenient to delay it till after the '04 election by accusing the scientists of being too emotional and telling them to rewrite it and stick to science.

IOW it's just the RW resorting to manipulation once again.

14. why can't we do something about the ny post?
treason is a killing crime; aint it? they accuse us of treason, yet....nada. the usa has been conquered, ok, but what's with this grin and bear it crap?
a country of 300 million people can't/won't defend itself?
maybe there's nothing to defend?
item: the ny post created bush, outta whole cloth. Remember whitewater, monica, wag the dog? Bush has openly warred on the liberal democracy called the USA (he gives not a shit about what the majority of citizens think, and he brags about it) aided by such mediawhores as the ny post. When farmers have a good dog, who for some reason likes chicken, and something must be done w/out killing the dog, wise farmers reputedly give it a 'carrion necktie' ie a dead chicken strapped to its neck. The carcass rots horribly, driving poor dog carazy, and...well that's the end of its chicken killin! The 'liberal' press is like a good dog, with this strange infatuation with the Spawn of Wimpy (as foxnew'ss execs calls george junyer bush in private; 'wimpy' being old man bush)...Why can't the nypost be tagged as a Bush toady, guilty of everything junyer's done, including knowing about 911 but LIHOP? Why can't we say 'Bush crime family promoter ny post' or 'Bush sycophant abc news' or 'Bush spokesman foxnews/cnn/nbc/pbs' etc etc? Didn't nypost once publish a 'bush knew' edition? why can't someone marry both and....and....
oh nevermind: noone reads the nypost....

17. The NY Post is the ultimate right wing rag.
But today's cover and piece by Ralph Peters were over the top,
even for them.

Mr.Peters article was a hysterical, vicious outburst claiming
that anyone who did not support Bush's illegal war was a traitor.
This is what passes for journalism in the Post every day.
Tomorrow there will be at least eight letters to the editor
parroting Peter's ignorant, demented brand of patriotism.

18. Ralph Peters, like Bush, is wrong about nearly everything
Edited on Sat Feb-17-07 10:25 PM by MODemocrat
The disgruntled goon should remember the Democrats did not start this Bloody mess; George W. Bush did.
We're not the ones responsible for over 3,000 deaths of our military, and thousands upon thousands of
civilian deaths. Bush is responsible for all of that. He never gets anything right, so he might as well go ahead with his escalation and get it over with. He'll continue to get us in deeper and deeper
into this bloody battle which was started because of his lust for oil. Now he's fighting a religious war and he had no right to take sides as he has done. Bush lied, he's the one who has repeatedly commited treason. We are living under a Dictatorship in this country. though he's not nearly as competent as some of the others.

George Bush must be brain dead, and the goofy bunch who carry his water are even worse!
  :puke: :puke:     :hangover: :hangover: :hangover: :hangover:
