Blackwater had dropped off the official when they killed 17 civilians
I didn't know this until now. They were *protecting* an empty car. Their was no one to provide security for!

The three teams of an estimated dozen Blackwater bodyguards had already dropped off the State Department official they were tasked with protecting when they headed to Nisoor Square, according to the lawsuit filed by lawyers working with the Center for Constitutional Rights.

1. its going to be so fun watching all the trials of the many crimes of the bush/cheney cabal
in the coming years and theres no doubt in my mind that they're coming too. The fact America is a government of laws and not men will guarantee it

2. The only trials will be for the small-fry. The only Democrat who would not
issue blanket pardons for everyone in the administration is Kucinich, and according to the "people in the know", he has no chance of winning. Any of the other Democrats, if elected, will pardon the entire Bush administration, except (as I said) the smallest of fries...

4. Yes I agree
Accountability means nothing to these 'leaders'.

3. I am not as optimistic as you are
Ollie North got off. So did Scooter Libby. I expect these bastards to get off too. Of course that's not what I want, but I am afraid what will happen.

5. I think my sanity is directly related to my beliefs that we will win in the end
It is beyond me how anyone could not see what is going on but just yesterday afternoon for instance one of my long time friends was over and we were doing some welding repairs on his backhoe anyways he is one of those who can't see. its so frustrating to try to talk to someone who only listens to rush limperballs to keep abreast of what the other side is thinking, I'm sure you know the kind. So for our long time friendship I let it all slide and just shake my head instead. If it wasn't for this friend I prolly couldn't really believe anyone could be so stupid, actually :hi:
