1. Let's see...
Al Gore, Bill Bradley, Howard Dean, John Kerry...

I'm sure if I thought about it a few more minutes, I could think of more...

4. No offense to Dean and Gore, but I'd take Dennis in a heartbeat.
(Bradley and Kerry don't stand a chance in my world.)

2. You ask two opposite questions
Therefore I won't vote.

Has there ever been a better presidential candidate than Dennis Kucinich? Yes.
Is Dennis Kucinich the best presidential candidate ever? No.

3. And by the way
You've got two questions in your OP.

The answer to one question is yes, the answer to the other one is no. :P

7. is he the person who I would like to see yes, is he the best candidate ever no
not at all. not finding a fault is not equal to the bestest candidate automatically. He does measure up with the best of them though

8. This poll reads a little like a Palm Beach butterfly ballot.
But for the record, Dennis Kucinich is THE absolute best President that this country could elect in 2008. We don't need Bush Lite, we need 180 degree change from this destructive, fascist agenda.

9. Kucinich is tremendous on his positions, but to be a good
candidate also implies a lot of sharp political skills--skills that can overcome your detractors. It isn't fair that Kucinich does not get the attention he deserves, but it is true that he has not found a way to win over his detractors and to turn a liability into a positive. So, from that point of view, arguably there has not been a better "candidate" in recent history than the Big Dawg, himself.

I like Dennis a great deal. He is tough in his own right. But, I don't see how he will overcome the forces that conspire to defeat him. So, he isn't the best presidential candidate from that respect at all.

10. Not if he's serious about Ron Paul as a running mate.
I couldn't vote for that ticket.

Barring that possibility, yes, to me he's the perfect candidate.
