8. Triangulation is an important concept because it is 2 dimensional...

it explains how a centrist can compromise between left and right and still remain hawkish the whole time. (hope that wasn't too intense)

9. Triangulation is the impossible triangle!

When viewed from one particular point, the Impossible Triangle appears to be an equilateral triangle. Upon closer inspection it is discovered that this perception is false, and the object does not actually form a triangle. Even given this knowledge, however, it is extremely difficult to view the object from the special vantage point as anything but a triangle.

13. Is quadrangulation advanced triangulation?
Is angulation a civil form of trolling? Let's ask G. O'Metry.

17. are they all lost?
do they need GPS to find their way? An old-fashioned survey crew, complete with theodolite?

(triangulation- a method using trigonometry to find the location of a point using bearings from two fixed points a known distance apart. -from my pocket Merriam-Webster dictionary)

Grandpa worked on the Coastal Geodetic Survey after WWI, hiking into the Cascade Range with his mule and equipment. That is the image I got from the word.
