"There Will Be Blood" -- predictive of the coming split in the GOP?
Saw "There Will Be Blood" last night -- searing work by Daniel Day-Lewis. Without giving anything away, one of the plotlines of the film is the ongoing "duel," for the
hearts and minds of a town - and each other -- between DDL's flinty, Rockefeller-like "Oil man," and Paul Dano's deranged/duplicitous fundie preacher.

Does the film preconfigure the coming split between the "Chamber of Commerce" wing and the lunatic "Apocalypse Now" faction?
