Republican values. Honoring "the Troops".

Suicide rates for returnees are 4 times higher than the population at large.

One in four homeless people in America is a vet. Again, significantly higher than the population at large.

Support the troops, my ass.

Get 'em in. Send 'em over. Give 'em guns. Extend 'em.

When they return .... fuck 'em.

Same pattern as those other dumbfuck Republicans, the 'right to lifers'. Support the fetus, but screw the child.

My stomach jumps when I even contemplate this bullshit. How the FUCK do they get away with it? How?

they're not. they treat the living in such a despicable, disgusting manner.

i am particularly horrified at the way vets are treated and how it is gotten away with. they do nothing to sustain or attempt to repair the lives that are ruined by war.

i have tried so hard to understand how these people think, but I just don't get it. Ultimately, what they do is self-destructive, as in destroying themselves. They don't see how we're all connected and depend on each other. So sad....

5. Check this out. In my town, we have a liberal mayor and board.

In the state, two democratic senators and Nancy is our rep. Our VA hospital is struggling to stay OPEN because "they don't have enough clients" and we have one of the worst problems with homelessness in the country.

It's hard to say anything without seeming to diss Democrats and I really don't think it's about party. It's about local politics, about business as usual, and our ability not to see what we can't handle. :(

acknowledgments and some significant sacrifices, and we don't like that.
