Senator Byrd looked pretty fragile last night
He was on CSPAN and he looked a little out of it (I'm sure he was not). He did call for order when other members were quite loud. I hope he can recharge his batteries over the holiday weekend.

4. Your Surprised?
Well, I've heard Thom Hartmann says he thinks Byrd want to 'die with his boots on' so to speak. I don't think the good Senator unfortunately has too many days left. I miss his skewering of Bush's machinations on the Senate floor.
