Interesting quote from Conyers today..."If she(Pelosi) were to let this thing out of the box..
it could split down the middle and hinder productivity till the end of congress..almost at the very end of the article...

Interesting way to say it...if she were to let this thing out of the box"..because thats what we all know it is..some huge thing with lots of complicity...

2. Do I want productivity from this Congress?
Is that really a good idea?

I'm thinking I want everything voted on for the last seven years rescinded in toto. Otherwise, just don't touch anything!

When I expressed dismay with Speaker Pelosi's leadership and asserted that, in my opinion, she had castrated the Democratic party by taking impeachment off the table, Congressman Conyers said "well, maybe we should get new leadership." As we were leaving the meeting room, on our way to a filming for BET, we were again discussing bringing forward H Res 333 and the Congressman turned to me and said, "I really want you to convince me to do this."

4. Dammit! It's not "a choice" !!! When Impeachment is called for, you do it.
These borderline TRAITOROUS, arrogant, sniveling and self-serving Democratic Leaders in OUR Congress need to RE-CONSIDER THEIR OATH or be prepared to lose their f**king seats to their NEXT primary challenger. :grr: :nuke:

These MFs in Congress are about as productive as my office after 9PM. (When we can't call our students and we just sit around watching YouTube)

9. Productivity? LOL
Somewhere around 89% of Americans don'r seem to see much.

Could be that they raise their sorry ratings by at least the appearance of holding Bush & Cheney accountable. For Something.

12. An interesting comment to be sure but I don't agree that letting it out could
hurt this country and more than allowing even them one more day of "Ruining" this country straight into the ground.

I'm nor sure all those recipients of government funded programs no longer working out to well and that have lost so much would agree with him.

"If she were to let this thing out of the box," said Conyers, "considering the number of legislative issues we have pending ... it could create a split that could effect our productivity for the rest of the Congress."

Followed by
But Rep. Kucinich said in a press conference late Tuesday afternoon that he believed the measure may still have a life.

"I've spoken to Mr. Conyers and I'm quite confident that the ball is in good hands," said Kucinich.

Dennis! You tease! And John, are you really saying that if this thing splits open it will facilitate the productivity? Perhaps you mean it will negatively affect productivity?

But what I want to know is what specifically is the split over? The whole world knows Cheney is criminal!

18. Al Gore is also against impeachment
Although Pelosi and Conyers are directly responsible for not holding Bush/Cheney accountable.
