WASHINGTON -- Police at George Washington University have charged a student with drawing swastikas and racial slurs on the doors of dorm rooms.

University spokeswoman Tracy Schario said the suspect has been barred from campus and will go through GW's judicial system. The university is not releasing the student's name, citing privacy laws.

Schario said GW officials also are looking at whether the suspect may have violated D.C. or federal laws. The drawings were reported Friday night and earlier in the week.

Between the swastikas and the nooses I am really beginning to wonder if there's a coordinated, underground nationwide effort to fuel the hate.

If not, there are some very sick copycats out there.

Police said a noose was found hanging on a tree outside the Nyumburu Center....

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Police at the University of Maryland are investigating what they called a possible hate crime.
Vandals on Sunday spray-painted three cars parked outside the Kappa Alpha fraternity house, police said. One car was painted with a swastika and the other two with phallic symbols.

WASHINGTON -- Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier said Thursday a man has been arrested in a possible hate crime in Georgetown.
On Sept. 9, a man was attacked in the 1400 block of 36th Street in Northwest by a group of men yelling homophobic slurs. On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was obtained for 19-year-old Phillip Anderton Cooney, a Georgetown University student from Texas. He is charged with simple assault.

WASHINGTON -- D.C. police are investigating a possible hate crime at Gallaudet University.

School officials said seven high school students have been sent home from the school after an incident in one the dorms. The teenagers are students at Model Secondary School for the Deaf, which is located on the Gallaudet campus and operated by the university.

According to police, six white students and one black student physically forced another black student into a dorm room where he was held against his will. The students wrote "KKK" and drew swastikas on the victim with a marker before releasing him.

They dont' have any idea that people don't think they are smart. We think they are idiots. I think the punishment should be they have to wash or remove the paint. And then the community find buildings and places they have to paint or clean paint off.

6. Well according to a show I watched last week on the History channel

I believe it was there is indeed a coordinated effort to ensure a pure race and gain high positions of power in this country by members of the Aryans Brotherhood, they are now enforcing it's members to attend college, dress accordingly, not get tattoos or markings such as certain hair cuts etc that make them stand out...

It was pretty scary to hear these young men speaking in low moderated and clearly stated positions of a need for a country of their own, a purity of race and the need to gain more higher positions of authority in THIS country.

They talked of gaining new members daily, members world wide coming to live back here in America, they scared me in some ways more than the wild crazy looking ones, at least you can spot them more easily.

According to those interviewed for the program, no copycats wanted but a need to ensure their message for a white purity is heard once again and this time listened to.

I think it would be foolish to ignore the real threat they represent is gaining ground.
