Memo to Mark Warner: Make Gilmore Denounce the Davises' Fundraising Tactics
Mark Warner is going to trounce Jim Gilmore in Virginia (turning the other US Senate seat blue in 08).

According to Rasmussen Reports, Warner is leading Gilmore 53 to 37 percent: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008__1/2008_senate_elections/virginia_senate

Building upon the sea shift in Virginia that we saw with the Webb/Maccaca nail-biter last November, Mark Warner should hammer Gilmore on his views of official corruption and pay for play contracting practices both in Richmond and in DC.

In other words, Mark Warner should plan to pin "Happy Gilmore" down on the Tom and Jeannemarie Davis political corruption machine, and how it has tainted committee operations in the Virginia Statehouse and on Capitol Hill: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=2185629&mesg_id=2185629

As an added bonus, highlighting this public corruption story may help close the Electoral College gap in Virginia - especially if the message is being carried forward by an all-star like Mark Warner: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008__1/2008_presidential_election/virginia_2008_presidential_election
