7. Yep you are so right.
although the one good thing I do trust her to do is to pass the employee free choice act. That will really help unions, and take some real power away from corporations. of course any dem would do that. I just hope that helps us organize enough to turns things around. we definatly won't get much help from a clinton presidency.

10. I don't know that you're a Democrat at all.
You've already made you 3rd party push.

But if this is all too harsh for you, perhaps politics just isn't your thing.

my post was about the lack of discussion. By not stating the pros and cons and trying to overwhelm me, you only proved my point. I also talk about the positives of Hil when appropriate. Read all the comments.

anyone can spin a bunch of votes. And a lot of votes that weren't so flattering.

30. Actually it was in direct reply to your statement.
You basically said "Hillary has been anointed and isn't worthy of being the frontrunner, because some mystical, magical "Leader" figure has annointed her."

I then pointed out that MAYBE she is ahead because when polled, people like her due to her ACTUAL VOTING RECORD.

Which you have ignored as "overwhelming".

24. As Joe points out, there are far more anti-Hillary people than
Hillary supporters here. How could a fairly small minority have any hope of silencing dissent? And bitching about attacks on Hillary is hardly an attempt to silence anyone. It's simply part of the vigorous and sometimes riotous dialogue here.

35. And so who the fuck are they?
How did they decide which quotes to list, which votes to list? Why should I not be skeptical about them?

I just wasted 20 minutes at that site, and found nothing that indicates just who they are or what their agenda is. And don't tell me they have no agenda. Everyone has an agenda.

39. That tells me nothing.
A lot of crap from the 2000 election, a little from 2004, all presented as if it was current. I don't know these people, and I don't know their agenda. Am I to believe the 12 citations by Hillary on Business are ALL she's had to say about business in her career? And what, pray, does business say about her? No mention of her being funded by the health insurance lobby and Rupert Murdoch - great progressives there.

A lot of sound bites with no context.

31. Are we Democrats or Good Germans?
I'm sorry, but the OP is just about the most mind-numbing arguement I have read in awhile.

Who says Hillary is the front runner? According to the polls, about half of the voters haven't even begun to pay attention to the race. Front runner among whom?

Can a front runner stumble? At this point in 03, the race was between Dean and Clark. Kerry was hocking his house. Making a desperation gasp to do well in Iowa. Not even campaigning in New Hampshire. Couldn't afford it. Actually, this description was even later in the race than Nov 1st!

So who says Hillary is the front runner? Don't the voters get to decide who is the front runner any more?

"Don't ask questions". You gotta be kidding, huh? Where would the American Revolution be if nobody asked questions? Democracy is dead dead DEAD if people stop asking questions.

If you don't want to ask questions, I feel embarrassed for you. It certainly is not something to brag about!

Why shouldn't we vote for Hillary and stop asking questions?... After all, the Republicans don't ask questions....

Well...for one thing....we didn't ask the right questions about Kerry. We did not, even though it was public record, anticipate the swiftboat charges about Kerry about his medals. Maybe if we nominated someone like Wes Clark in 04 we would have won. But Kerry became the inevitable nominee....and we didn't ask questions.

We have plenty of time to ask all kinds of questions about our potential nominees. The more questions, the better! If we have a candidate who cannot take the challenge of questions, we have a weak candidate and we should reject that candidate on that basis!

Bring on the questions! It. Is. Called. A. Campaign.
