Should Florida Democrats Switch to the GOP for the Primary?
The thought of registering as a Republican makes my skin crawl.

However, my vote in the Democratic primary will mean absolutely nothing, but switching would allow me and millions of others to vote for the weakest GOP candidate, thus getting him some publicity and forcing the viable candidates to scramble.

Should we do it? And who would be the best GOP candidate for us to "support"?

1. Florida's Democratic Delegates Will Be Seated
Delegates WILL be Seated

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a round-table discussion with reporters in Washington that the Democratic National Committee can try to enforce its rules, but the party's authority essentially ends when the convention begins.

The reality is if you want to know if Florida is going to be seated, ask the Democratic nominee as soon as one emerges," Pelosi said.

Dean agreed.

3. I got to vote against her last fall.
It was one of the greatest pleasures of my life.

4. Sure, why not?
If you don't care who the Democratic Nominee will be that is your business and if you feel compeled to vote for someone no matter what a Republican will do as well as any other bottomfeeder.

5. Looks like that reading comprehension program's not working out so well for you.
The self-righteousness training is clearly going nicely, though.

I do care who wins the nomination, but my vote will not count, thanks to a silly squabble among the big boys and girls. In the meantime, it might be possible to saddle the GOP with some laughable nominee.

6. Isn't the problem with 'some laughable nominee'..
that of the old saying: "The trouble with political jokes is that sometimes they get elected"?

I don't know too much about Florida politics, except two words: JEB BUSH, and another two words: KATHERINE HARRIS. They would have seemed like laughable nominees to me, especially Harris; but they got elected as governor and secretary of state for Florida - and in those positions, they managed to bring devastation on their country and the world!
