America has won the Iraq War.

America has won the Iraq War.

- Saddam and his vile sons are dead.

- The Iraqi people have "freely" elected a new democratic government and constitution.

- Instead of the anti-American Baathist party in power, there is now the pro-American al Maliki administration.

- After a long trial, the new Iraqi justice system sentenced their former dictator and his top officers to death.

- The Iraqi military is now a U.S. ally, and is helping us hunt down insurgent fighters including al Qaeda terrorists (like al Zarqawi) throughout the country.

- Similar to Afghanistan, we won the war.

- AND NOW WE MUST BEGIN REDEPLOYING OUR BRAVE HEROES OUT OF HARM'S WAY AND BACK HOME TO BE SUPPORTED.

1. Even "post war" the question still remains
If war this war was the last resort why did they have to do it preemptively?

11. That nails it down completely
Idiot Bush created a mega supply chain between the U.S. and the ME and the government believes dismembering it would be (economically) tragic. The last thing they care about are the lives involved.

3. If our candidate sticks to that message in 2008, we win BIG.
It will leave the GOP dumbfounded, without a coherent message, and with a snowball's chance in hell at winning/keeping the American public's sympathy. We've become too smart for their endless-war propaganda. 2008 is OURS to WIN.

4. Not if they don't get their oil deals.
They lost so far using our service people's blood. If they get the deals they are looking, then they've won their business deals using our service people's blood.

7. The Iraqi People lost the Iraq war.
One million are dead.

Two million are refugees.

Nearly everyone is unemployed.

There is no power or water in many areas.

The national infrastructure is in ruins. Cities are in ruins.

Ethnic genocide is a daily fact.

Don't you just love how America wins wars!
Fact is, noone ever WINS a war! In war, everyone loses.

to see the Dems in Congress consistently argue the war on Bush's terms. We need to reframe the damn talking point debate (see the OP) and STICK TO IT. Then we win.

10. As soon as they do something Bush defines as objectionable
the "the pro-American al Maliki administration" will be redefined as "the pro-Iranian al Maliki administration."

12. "Fact is, noone ever WINS a war! In war, everyone loses."
Wrong! Lots of people have garnered $Millions. Even some Iraqis & Afghanis have made bundles of $$$. Thousands of US & Western Corps. have reaped $Millions from this War & from Afghanistan. The Saudi Royals and their biz partners have reaped $Millions. There are definitely winners & losers.
