1. Half gallon of orange juice at TJ's -- astronomical price.
Milk -- up, up, up and away.

Food prices rising rapidly, wages stagnating. I don't see how families are coping.

3. I bet it's all this ethanol use.
That's the limbaugh line they like to trot out. Their reasoning is because we're growing all this grain for auto fuel, we have none left for farm use. No, I'm serious.

4. Yes - prices are higher every week I shop.
I'm shell shocked because my garden is pretty much kaput for the year and now I'm looking at veggie prices for the first time in months.

5. I live on a fixed retirement income. I am having trouble.
I gave up beef years ago and now have almost had to drop my fish which I love. So I am down to chicken once in a while. Good think I like veggies and fruit as that is about what I eat. Since I live alone day old bread, at half cost, does well and I can freeze it so do not have to shop a lot. I swear every two weeks when I shop, food is higher. I even started saving the slips and I am right. It does go up fast.
