DNA test hope over damages claims (BBC)

Scientists say a new DNA test may help prove if people have had their health damaged by exposure to chemicals.

Samples of DNA are taken from a healthy person and exposed to the chemicals to see which genes are affected. This is then compared to the claimants' DNA.

Experts say it could have huge implications on civil cases where workers seek compensation for illnesses caused by things such as asbestos.

The technique was developed by Dr Bruce Gillis at the University of Illinois.

1. Great! Maybe all those workers at the World Trade center that are

suffering from lung/breathing problems will finally be able to sue without long, expensive drawn out trials. Plus those committing fraud will be caught...however I suppose they're aren't many. But that will appeal to the Rethugs because they cringe or go ape at the thoughts of anyone getting a freebie from the government.

Another great thing is now those effected with Agent Orange or Gulf War Syn drone can finally get due justice.

We'll be able to see if Depleted Uranium (DU) is harmful and causing birth defects.

Also those children and soldiers suffering from reactions to immunization shots will be able to prove their case. The government is finally going to have to be honest with the people. No more deceitful tricks and denials till the victim dies.

Children suffering from Autism will finally know if childhood shots caused their problems.

We'll be able to find the cause of many,many different types of cancers.

This is a fabulous discovery! Maybe the best one of the century! Maybe even a Noble Prize winner.
