Cheney to speak at Graves fundraiser in Kansas City

WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Kansas City, Mo., next Monday to speak at a fundraiser for Rep. Sam Graves, R-Mo.

The vice president will begin his remarks at 12:30 p.m. at the downtown Marriott, spokeswoman Megan Mitchell said.

Graves, in his fourth term in the House, is facing a challenge next year from former Kansas City Mayor Kay Barnes, a Democrat.

The luncheon will be open to the press.
