1. Hahaha - misleading headline as usual.
Fool the masses. While its true he said the 'surge' will end by Spring, all this means is the troops return to pre-surge levels of about 130,000. The 30,000 additional surge troops go home. Back to the status quo. And the reduction of the surge isn't because of 'conditions on the ground', its due to the reality of the troops already extended 18 month tours will be up.

4. The Surge Must END. There are no Replacement Troops
to send. Ex. Sec.St. Powell explained this months ago.
The Military runs out of people. They simply lined up
the time many of us knew we would be doing draw down of
sorts anyway. They just put lipstick on this pig and
will convince a lot of people--We are ending the Surge.
Please note they were careful to say They will only draw\down
to the PreSurge Limits. There will still be 130,000 troops
there. However, they hope to make the American People
believe we are draqing down and the troops will be coming
home. Save the Election for GOPers in trouble.

Are we going to continue to permit them to "muddy the water"?
This is how they win.
