I'm watching "Bowling For Columbine" on Bravo right now...
And I still have the same question:

What is the point?

2. The point is to ask the question...
Why do other countries which allow gun ownership have a fraction of the murder rate that we do? They watch the same violent movies and play the same violent video games. Could it be the local news which, in America, encourages the feelings of fear and dread out of proportion to the dangers actually out there?

3. I think the point was summed up in the movie's tagline
"Are we a nation of gun nuts, or just nuts?"

5. Well i suppose to tranfer 7-9 dollars of the movie viewers money
from their pocket to the pockets of Michael Moore and his produces distributors and what not. I mean when you get right down to it.

I like Bowling for Columbine - in some ways it's better than Farenheit 9/11 (I missed Sicko - it was in town for like a minute and a half). It's a complicated issue and Moore doesn't skip over the contradicting inforamation.
