Update on our battle with CBS over their censorship

A local reporter decided to do a show on our story. He interviewed the lady who was handcuffed and several of us who were there. Then he called CBS for a statement. THEY DENIED THEY CENSORED OUR SIGNS OR ASKED ANYONE TO LEAVE THE EVENT!!

The spokeswoman from CBS the reporter talked to even asked how we knew the woman who asked us to leave worked for CBS! She was wearing a name tag that identified her as a CBS reporter but I guess we should have assumed it could be fake. :eyes:

The production assistant we dealt with who asked us to leave said she would lose her job if our signs appeared on camera. Now CBS is denying anyone said anything like this to us or asked us to leave.

Another reporter from a national magazine contacted us and is considering doing an article on what happened.

Now here's the best news I have to report today: We just found out that ABC is coming here to the same park to film their evening news show in 2 weeks. YES, WE WILL BE THERE WITH OUR SIGNS! We are also bringing attorneys with us. And this time, we will have video cameras to film any conversations we may have with production assistants for ABC.

The media has no right to control the message or censor our signs. We WILL fight back. It's time someone in this country insisted on upholding our constitution and the rights it guarantees all of us.

IMO, the media is complicit in the illegal war being waged on Iraq. They dropped the ball big time when they jumped on bush's cheerleading bandwagon and helped promote this illegal attack and occupation.

Bill's Journal a month or two ago had on Amy Goodman. Forgot the subject of this episode, but Amy had stats about MSM that IN THE RUN UP TO THIS WAR, MSM had approx 900 stories about the impending war. ONLY ABOUT 5 had ANY MENTION WHAT SO EVER about the thoughts of ANTI WAR PEOPLE, even though the majority of Americans were ACTUALLY AGAINST THE WAR BEFORE IT STARTED!

We've always been the majority and we've been completely marginalized by the MSM corpora-fascist machine!
