After this statement by airhead Rice...
"I believe there is an assault on democracy in Venezuela and I believe that there are significant human rights issues in Venezuela," Rice told lawmakers at a congressional hearing. "I do believe that the president of Venezuela is really, really destroying his own country, economically, politically."

I just shutter at the thought that if morons* "plan" for iraq actually worked (I know, a HUGE leap of faith) imagine what the world would be like today?

We would have gone on in a heart beat to Iran, Syria, Venezuela and god knows where else. There would a trail of dead, thousands, if not millions of bodies long.

As much as I hate this piece of shit war, and we should have never gone in in the first place and get the hell out now, I'm actually glad it was a colossal failure just like the idiot* because the alternative future, I expressed, scares the living hell out of me.

1. The failure of this war could equal the damage done if we had gone to the other countries.
The deaths and destruction and the money wasted in Iraq may be equal to "successes" in Iran, Syria and Korea.

2. Clear intent
Need we spell this out again? Even without sources, part of the plan if it is allowed to continue will be to get rid of Chavez. They have been running this parallel despite heavy concentration on Iraq. They pushed off Korea completely, but there was time to knock off Haiti, mess around in Africa, where resources were at stake. Chavez has vastly more popular resources than any Bush target, but encouraged by another adventure with Iran he is side dish Bush is determined to have.

Once more, while we are dealing with the retro Bush debacles, the Bush agenda forges moronically forward.
Chavez is a target they don't want to leave behind. Take these words seriously. They intend to topple the most popular supported democracy yet with no regard to its legitimacy.

And intend to install an eventual RW dictatorship as a "model"- again- for the leftward migrating continent.

3. Administration officials and 'puke talking-heads often attribute to others what they would see in
the mirror if they would only first take a reality pill.

4. In other news...
I believe there is an assault on democracy in America and I believe that there are significant human rights issues in America, I do believe that the president of America is really, really destroying his own country, economically, politically and spiritually.
