What happened to the DU Memorial Wall idea?

Since we need to add another name,and all.

Just wondering, thougth I would give the idea a kick.

3. A memorial for DUers who have died. It was proposed recently.

As to the latest possible addition I have no idea and am hoping to be clued in on this thread.

I may get fighting mad at some of the people on this board, but I find out later that those who piss me off big time on one issue are my closest allies on another. We all have a contribution to make--very sad when one of us is silenced by fate.

12. I've read most of the threads in the past on this...

...AND have watched some of the follow-ups and basically: Some people come to DU and over the course of a very long time weave elaborate lies about who they are. This also includes the creation of ficticious loved ones. And sometimes they "kill off" those loved ones for dramatic effect.

  Shocking, isn't it? However if there were a memorial wall there would be strong doubts about some of the names on it and that would really, really upset alot of people in the long run.

  This is not about Khepra or Andy but the "deaths" of many others.

  Sticky situation, eh?

  I think the Administrators made the right decision on this.
