8. It is real...Beaver County, PA
There used to be a restaurant/bar named Sally's that was always referred to as Sally's Big Beaver. It was a neverending source of entertainment for a couple of local radio jocks. They used to broadcast from there and wrote a song called "Show Us Your Beaver"

"Show us your Beaver...Li-brar-eeeeeeeee"

6. I'll never buy grapes in a bag again.
I may never eat them, as a matter of fact.

Arachnophobe, me.

10. Tarantulas are often found among bananas during transport.

Most spiders are gone by the time the fruit hits the shelves.

I wouldn't worry at all about spiders hiding in grapes bought from the store. People are much more likely to die slipping in the bath tub or being hit by a car.

Plus, I was bitten by a Brown Recluse, and a few less deadly spiders in my time and survived.

Now cockroaches, that's a different story. :puke:

9. It's quite common-some growers have even seeded their
vineyards with the deadly ladies to kill insect pests.

it had nothing to do with what he found where and everything to do with his description

the question, though, is does "big" refer to the size of the beaver, or, rather, to his enthusiasm for beavers?

unfortunately, the wording is ambiguous

I'll have to check with Stephanie Miller
