Lieberman calling for a War Tax
Good. I don't know his intentions, but that won't ring good in anyone's ears.

1. I'm calling for a Lieberman tax
Every time he's mentioned, we should put a quarter in the DU kitty.

Taxing the rich? Lieberman is the new Zell, he cannot be trusted. This will sap the middle class, and without even seeing his proposal we all know it.

4. I'll pay a tax for universal health care but not one to destroy the
Middle East. Lieberman's grandstanding and Bush-kissing continues.

5. Gee, I agree with him on something
A war tax would be just the thing to push more people to the anti-war side. Never mess with a republicant's wallet.

8. Why not repeal all those tax cuts Pres. Bush has been parading himself on?
Why create a new one which adds only more bureaucratic garbage, which cases more time and money to be spent countin' the beans?

12. Does "War Tax" refer to extra taxes for citizens to pay for the war
or extra taxes for companies that are profiting from the war? Not that I think either is a good idea (if you tax the companies, they'll just raise their expenses to cover the taxes anyway), I'm just curious.
