Don't tell me you're concerned about the great deal of time multiple impeachment trials would take away from Congress working on the problems of the country, the time it would take for the House to consider articles of impeachment, and for the Senate to conduct multiple trials, would make it very difficult, if not impossible, for Congress to do what it was elected to do – end the war and address some of the other terrible mistakes this Administration has made over the past six and a half years.

7. Just earlier today...

...I finally got motivated enough, after watching the episode of Bill Moyer's Journal about impeachment, to write to my Congressman Paul Hodes and urge him to pursue impeachment against both Bush and Cheney.

I've been skeptical about the value of impeachment before, because I know that the votes for actual removal of either of these asshats from office probably aren't there, but I'm now realizing that the process itself is important, not only on principle, but for the practical effect it could have on reigning in Bush's imperial presidency and breaking through the cloak of secrecy this administration hides behind.
