And all those other officials and the paper work that keeps not showing up? When are they going to testify and produce the papers? Or is that a methodical thing? How long do you suppose the court case will be to sort out the claims of executive privilege? When they finally get around to following up on all the ignored subpoenas that are producing no evidence, I mean?
Did Fitz know if the grand jury would indict when he presented his evidence on Scooter to the grand jury? Did he count their votes before he presented his evidence, or after he presented his evidence?
Did Fitz poll the trial jurors before the trial, and see if he had the votes to convict scooter? Or did he find out if he had the votes after the case was presented?
Did Fitz say, "well bush might pardon Libby, or commute his sentence, so I'll take indictment and trial off the table, and see if that helps?"
Heck no! Heck no to all of that.
Cindy is demanding that Pelosi put impeachment back on the table, and let members of congress make up their own minds on impeachment. She is not demanding that Pelosi impeaches Chaney or bush. She has said she will move to SF, and run for Pelosi's seat if Pelosi won't abide by the will of San Francisco voters who voted 60% in favor of impeachment in November. That seems fair. Somebody need to represent the voters, if Pelosi isn't into it. According to locals, there are a number of other very liberal, progressive people from San Fran. who are also thinking of running for the seat. Apparently many of Pelosi's constituents are upset with her because they feel she is ignoring their concerns.
Al Gore is a great guy, and I like him too. But even he ran for President without knowing before hand if he had the votes to win. Turned out he did, but that didn't much matter since criminals stole the election.
it's high time to start bringing those criminals to justice. It's time to put impeachment back on the table.
Also, I'm not sure you get where Cindy is coming from. If she has to run, because Nancy won't budge, she will run to win. But winning isn't as important to her as doing the right thing. There's a valuable lesson to be learned from that, I think. Sometimes doing the right thing is more important than winning.
