FR weighs in on * all time lowest approval ratings:
Pelosi's approval rating is even much lower, this is a left wing media fantasy. The political mood in this country is volatile towards both parties.

- - -

an impeachment attempt by Nancy Pelosi.

- - -

The press relies on Polls more then reporting hard news and they wonder why they are losing readers.

- - -

I don't know any time in Bush's presidency where he has cared about his approval rating.

- - -

And according to a recent Fox poll, more than 1/3 of Americans say either that they WANT us to fail in Iraq, or that they aren't sure whether we should win.

With fellow citizens like these, who needs enemies?

- - -

I guess you have to have sex with interns and lie about it under oath to get a high rating from this group

- - -

He needs to take a look at the later Reagan years and emulate, in so far as it is possible, the Great Man.

- - -

Bottom line, no one really cares and Bush has been mauled as a plaything of the Democrat media for 6 years. Early in the administration Bush demonstrated quick and decisive victories. Now the pubic is bogged down seeing no obvious victories in Iraq and have turned on Bush.

- - -

A tremendous credit to the Islamofascists and their allies.

2. I love that Reagan line.
I think that this President has been quite naturally emulating the Great Man's latter days as President the whole time. Ronald Reagan was drifting ever deeper into senility and wasn't a terribly bright fellow before that.

Bush has apparently been senile-stupid his whole life.

3. thanks for pulling out the highlihgts
a couple of responses to their nonsense:

Pelosi is polling at above 50% - deal with it freepers.

For the first time in recent times, I believe that the print media is beginning to regain readership - deal with it freepers.

Reagan's popularity severly dipped late in his second term (but nothing like junior's dip) due to Iran Contra - deal with it freepers.

And my response overall - not to a direct comment above: Junior is a disaster as a president - deal with it freepers.

6. Yes - the ironic thing is
Pelosi is on 51% approve
B*sh is on 51% STRONGLY DISapprove.

Freepers have to eventually wake up to the fact that B*sh is not working for America because Americans don't like his actions or his policies and it seems that he deliberately and repeatedly goes against the wishes of the people. The logical conclusion is that you have to ask...why does * hate America?

5. they are so stupid they forget that * is supposed to work for US,
We The People, and not for his own vain-glorious wars and bloody profit.
In that way "polls" certainly DO matter, they are a reflection of the Will of The People and this is supposed to be a country with government "of, by, and for The People."
Apparently they would be happier in a monarchy, where the people have no say and must bow to the king, no matter how incompetent, greedy, selfish, short-sighted, pig-headed, stupid, drunken, self-absorbed or insincere the privileged little draft-dodging @$$hole is.

7. The freeper types don't think the polls matter because their
claim is that more Democrats are polled than Republicans. According to them, the media (you know, that damned "liberal" media) does this because they want to make Bush look bad. Of course, they do get excited when his numbers move up a little bit or if they find even one poll that shows him in a more favorable light. They will only believe "facts" when they agree with their own narrow viewpoint. Otherwise, it's all a ploy by those who hate America and want to bring Bush down.

"He needs to take a look at the later Reagan years and emulate, in so far as it is possible, the Great Man."

So the Freeper wants Bush to be a drooling idiot?
