http://www.observer.com/2007/murdoch-ailes-weymouth-pump-bloomberg-breindel-awardsAin't it ironic?
Ailes meant to bait Dem candidates for declining FUX's offer to host their debate... but ended up comparing/equating his network with the world's #1 Terra network, al Qaeda!
I see his point: FUX news works 24/7 to Terra-ize Americans to surrender independent thought for Repub worldview, versus the followers of OBL, who work 24/7 because they hate our freedom! Yep, I would say those 2 networks have everything in common! FUX deals in psychological warfare, al Qaeda deals in physical warfare. They complete each other.
TOO funny! He just handed Dems this one on a silver platter....out of the mouths of portly Republicans! Keep talkin' Dumbass!
:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
OBL's #2? :rofl:
Mr. Murdoch hosted the 9th annual presentation of the Eric Breindel awards for opinion writing alongside Fox News boss Roger Ailes and Newsweek senior editor Lally Weymouth.
<snip>
And he had some choice words for Democratic candidates who have decided not to debate on Fox.
“The candidates that can’t face Fox, can’t face Al Qaeda,” said Mr. Ailes. “And that’s what’s coming.”
That was followed by applause from the crowd which featured several News Corp. executives and journalists from Murdoch-owned papers—Richard Johnson, the Post’s Page Six editor, for one.
