NPR Covers ACVR's White House/Rove-led 'Voter Fraud' Scam (BRAD BLOG Quoted in Report)

NPR Covers the American Center for Voting Rights (ACVR) 'Voter Fraud' Scam
'Liberal Blogger Brad Friedman' Quoted in Report on Disappearance of GOP 'Vote Fraud' Fraudsters and Their White House Connections

Nobody from ACVR Agrees to Speak to Them on Record, But the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Says Thor Hearne Has Some Complaints About The BRAD BLOG...

Much more rolling as the heat continues to build on Thor Hearne and the American Center for Voting Rights (ACVR) scam that we've been covering since March of 2005 here at The BRAD BLOG. (http://www.BradBlog.com/ACVR)

Today NPR finally jumped into the game on the heels of last week's superb and detailed exposé of Hearne by Murray Waas at National Journal.

I was contacted last week by NPR's Peter Overby and spoke to him on record for about 30 minutes. Part of that interview was used in a report today on NPR's Morning Edition.

Thor, and all the other ACVR scammers refused to show up. That, after years of plying their "voter fraud" scam unchecked on the NPR airwaves.

"One of the staunchest advocates for voter fraud has simply disappeared," begins the report that details the ACVR's "short but busy life" and quotes "Liberal blogger, Brad Friedman has been following the center since March 2005."...

8. Geez - it's been the most slow-walked issue I've ever witnessed - but that's
to be expected when the Dem powerstructure who wants the party moved further right is using the slow pace to THEIR advantage.

Fitrakis & Brad were on top of this back then but it only now filtering down-OVER 2 YEARS LATER!

18. I remember those threads
about Thor Hearne and ACVR being voting rights advocates :eyes:

Sometimes it is so hard to keep screaming about criminal behavior only to be ignored for so long and then finally MSM has an epiphany  and you are too exhausted to celebrate.

Way to go Brad! :applause:

And Thank you Peter Overby and NPR for finally noticing this and taking it seriously.

Hey, is this that organization that you had pictures of there "Office suite" that was just a mail box in a Mailboxes, etc. in a strip mall???

Voting Rights Group Low Key as Scandal Unfolds

Listen to this story... by Peter Overby

Morning Edition, June 6, 2007 · Questions about voter fraud are at the heart
of the scandal of the fired U.S. attorneys. Several of them had refused to
prosecute cases of alleged illegal voting by Democrats. With the story still
unfolding, one of the Bush administration's staunchest advocates in the
voter-fraud debate, the American Center for Voting Rights, has simply disappeared.

20. I've seen a lot of folks on DU...
...(not talking about you here, babsbunny) who act as if NPR is a Republican mouthpiece. I've never gotten that. I listen to Morning Edition on my morning commute, and All Things Considered on my evening commute. I've never seen (err, heard) any evidence that they have a Right-wing bias.

Hopefully your son will come around soon, babsbunny! :toast:

21. I agree with those folks...

NPR *does* have a Republican bias, in general, if only for all of the "balanced" reporting they do, when balance is not appropriate. In other words, if "a" says an obvious crime was committed, for which there is copious evidence and "b" says it never happened (and has no evidence to back that up), there is no reason to give the same time to both "a" and "b", particularly if the case of "b" is easily disproved.

Falling for the Fox "News" "fair and balanced" game, NPR has a habit of leveling an unlevel playing field for the bad guys in that way. And even erring on the side of the bad guys, just for safety.

I consider that bias. In the case of NPR, it tends to be a Republican bias, IMO.

22. I respect you TONS Brad,
but I just don't see this bias to the extent that you do. Especially when you take into account some of the editorials they have aired by folks like Daniel Schorr.

In any case, I absolutely respect your opinion as well as the job you've been doing with BradBlog. Keep it up!

16. Thanks for this. I've started to listen to a little more of NPR lately...seems
they've finally awakened and are doing a little more reporting. Could be that the M$M is so locked down these days that NPR just looks good in comparison to nothing...but Diane Rehm has been doing a great job with everything from Blackwater Contractors to Why the Press Ignored the Information that Saddam didn't have WMD. She get's two hours to do good stuff.
