Another House Rep. for Impeachment
By David Swanson

Congresswoman Yvette Clark (D., NY) has joined Congress Members Jan Schakowsky, William Lacy Clay, Albert Wynn, and Dennis Kucinich in cosponsoring Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney (H. Res. 333). For details, see: http://impeachcheney.org

The list of state Democratic Parties that have passed resolutions urging impeachment of Bush and Cheney has just grown to 15. Meanwhile, 11 state legislatures have introduced such resolutions, which have now been passed by at least 74 cities and towns and a growing list of labor unions and other organizations. These resolutions are all listed at http://impeachpac.org/resolutions-list

1. 36 investigations, 200+ hearings, resignations galore, convicts, liars, infectious amnesia outbreaks
There really is no room for impeachment to be "on the table."

With previous impeachments, the table was never this overcrowded, cluttered, busy, or overwhelmed. Any chance
Congress could institute a 48 hour day? Good ole 24/7 seems to be insufficient given the endless list of scandals.

6. I was just now wondering what the status was on HR 333.
Thanks for the update.

My son is convinced it's a good omen on the timing. You know, with Spiderman 3, Pirates 3 and Shrek 3 all out this summer too. What can I say? He's 10.

7. Albert Wynn????
Wasn't he one step better than William Jefferson? Many of us learned during last year's election, he was no Progressive. Anyone with more details on this one??

9. Good question. The chronology of Watergate is enlightening.
