Starting now in Atlanta, but time do vary by location.

Covers the hyping of the War on Iraq and the Valerie Plame spin very well.

NEWS WAR: SECRETS, SOURCES & SPIN (Part I)

Airdate: Feb. 13, 2007, 9 pm (check local listings) In part one of News War: Secrets, Sources & Spin, FRONTLINE examines the political and legal forces challenging the mainstream news media today and how the press has reacted in turn. Correspondent Lowell Bergman talks to the major players in the debates over the role of journalism in 2007, examining the relationship between the Bush administration and the press; the controversies surrounding the use of anonymous sources in reporting from Watergate to the present; and the unintended consequences of the Valerie Plame investigation -- a confusing and at times ugly affair that ultimately damaged both reporters' reputations and the legal protections they thought they enjoyed under the First Amendment.

1. Nothing is on my PBS station but CRAP
They're doing their interminable fundraising, something they do one month out of every three.

I'm royally pissed off at them. Not only have they canceled specials that were on their schedule to show this garbage, they do it for a whole month at a time, longer than other PBS stations I've known.

2. I know the feeling, I have 2 PBS stations here in Atlanta, and both have done that...
...with Bill Moyers' new show. Usually, Georgia Public Broadcasting moves it to Sunday Afternoon (a time when most will not see it), but this week they had about a 3 hour block of "Ann of Green Gables" on instead.

If you want see it, the video is all on line for this show at the FRONTLINE website at this link:
