My daughter took these pictures at the election night Rally for Sen Obama in Nashua, NH last Tuesday. I thought they were some good pics of the Senator and his incredible wife Michelle.

The crowd was disappointed by the results but you would never know it by the end of the night. The crowd of people who left that high school gym were, to borrow a phrase, "fired up and ready to go."

1. A story goes with one of those pics

I asked permission to take a picture of the family sitting right behind me. It was granted. I told the little boy that I wanted to take his picture to show to others because no one would believe me when I told them what a handsome young man I had met if I didn't have a picture to prove it. He told me to take the picture, so people would know it was true. LOL!

I asked his mother why she had brought him to an event that likely wouldn't end until late in the evening. She told me she wanted him to be able to tell his grandchildren that he was there, he saw it, he was a witness to the events that truly changed this country for the better. He may be young now, but he will always know, he was there. Funny thing is, every person near us listened in on that one and every person within ear shot nodded their heads in agreement.

I think that's why they were there too.

The pics are from my daughter, a huge, huge Obama supporter. Would it be too much to ask to just have a credit that says, "photos by Michelle B." She would flip over that.
