That's why I had to take the challenge when the one poster said he needed to know what was actually said. I'm so glad I have the book and could look it up! :)

No matter what the issue is, people who want to smear Barack shamelessly persist in misrepresenting and distorting his clear and obvious meaning.

Like the whole stupid Reagan flap... and the other moron who says pro-choice people "can't trust him" because he stated a scientific truth about the rate of growth in embryos and young children (by using the words "from conception").

They either really are idiots -- or they're unscrupulously pretending to be obtuse in order to mislead; either way, it pisses me off no end.
