Issues with GD and GDP

I support President Obama.

Do I think he made a correct decision on everything so far?

NO.

Do I think that he will make some decisions that I do not agree 100% with?

YES.

He is not perfect, but I support him. He is all we have right now. The people that cannot fathom anything Obama does or anything Obama MAY do is what ticks me off to no end! He needs our support and the Democratic party needs us.

The anti-Obama people I don't understand.

How do WE get through this?

3. WE get through this by hanging out here in the BOG. In my case, it gives me strength to dive back in

... to the morass of GD and GD P -- because I feel like someone's got my back. When I see a contentious thread and notice names from this group in the replies, it gives me more heart than I can express. Like many of the people in this group, I was seriously thinking of leaving DU. Now I just hit the Alert button a lot.

4. What I've said all along....

I don't expect to agree with Obama on every issue, but I DO KNOW that when he does something with which I don't agree, he's got a good reason for it. I respect him and trust his judgment. That's why I voted for him.

All of which makes me a cheerleader.
