3. Wow, a big long VIDEO about something that isn't supposed to be important!
And a putz telling us what we should THINK!!!

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...I am the great and powerful Wizard of Oz!!

Seems like some people are worried about this 'bad behavior' so they're attacking the people who had the NERVE to notice it!

Catch-22 on this subject I'm afraid. Can't not talk about it without talking about it. LOL!

10. There have been a boatload of threads telling people to PAY NO ATTENTION
to Obama's rude and childish behavior last night.

It's getting funnier by the minute. It's one frantic "Nothing to see here, move along!!" after another!

Apparently, there are more than a few people who seem nervous about "nothing to see here" and they're trying to hector, shame, berate, accuse people of being unserious, warn them that other issues are "more important," and do everything except do a Can-Can in fishnets and high heels to try to distract people from this story.

12. The question is: Is there something to see here?
One picture that shows two people in a crowd, one possibly trying to connect with another who doesn't see them trying to connect.

Is that a mark of rudeness that everyone should be talking about?

13. Apparently, the reporters in the Press Gallery thought so. Especially the one who
called Obama "childish."

But they're all a bunch of liars, eh? Yeaaaah, that's the ticket!

14. Is that what I said?
And how much extrapolation from one photo is allowed-- would it be alright for me to say Obama didn't shake her hand because she had one of those trick buzzers in it?

Since we're speculating about one Senator's behavior, that shouldn't be too much of a stretch, would it?

15. Pssst--when you put a question mark after a sentence, that's a way of engaging in
"speculation." Ya know?

It's not a way of telling you what you said!!

I guess then, that we can safely believe all those reporters, from all those different outlets, who recounted rather similar accounts of the event as it took place.

Yeah, how much extrapolation from one photo IS allowed? That's a GOOD question!!!I seem to recall that the Obama supporters took a pic taken at a fundraiser for Sen. Moseley-Braun and extrapolated like chickenpluckers for a week or so!!!!

It was a pic of Bill and the Senator, and in the center this guy, who was arrested yesterday (an eighteen-year pal of the guy with his back to us):

Maybe we should do some more of that "extrapolating?"

Is that we shouldn't give a shit about how they treat each other. We should care about what they're saying. But, if you wanna vote based on manners, go ahead. I prefer to examine issues.

20. No, we SHOULD give a shit about how they treat each other.
Those rules of protocol are every bit as important as the rules that get a bill to the floor, over to the other chamber, and off to the Executive Branch for signature. They ARE important. They're part and parcel of how the Hill does business.

Or did you forget about the fellah who used 'intemperate language' on the floor of the House, and, instead of his point about the war making the news, his apology did instead? He BLEW a chance to make his point, because he blew his cool.

We don't have fistfights in camera like the Taiwanese do. We no longer have duels 'off campus' either.

If you don't speak in a measured and reasoned tone when making your points, then the "story" becomes the invective, the snub, the insult. You bring it on YOURSELF if you don't adhere to those rules of civility on the Hill. Legislators know that, and the gifted ones are smooth as silk. They get their points across, too.

Jeez am I glad I missed all that CMC drama last night.

I stopped paying attention to the CMC fabrications 4 years ago when they endlessly commented on 'the Dean scream' and wanted me, instead, to believe Kerry was 'electable'.

23. No one lost their cool, or anything like that.
IF, and it's a big if, there was an actual snub, that's all it is. Christ in my country people lose their cool all the time. Dean Stinson once challenged another MP to a fist fight in the house. We laugh at it, but we see the real point and ignore the stupid shit. I feel for you if your nation can't do the same. But, that won't change as long as this kind of childish crap is perpetuated.

29. It was an INSTRUCTIVE moment.
It's interesting to see how candidates conduct themselves under a very slight amount of pressure, in the big scheme, because it gives us an idea of how they'll behave when the going gets tough.

One candidate passed the test, the other one didn't do so well.

It isn't "stupid shit" or "childish crap" -- unless you're referring to the conduct of the fellow who needs a few lessons in civility. We don't need petulance playing out for eight MORE years on the world stage. We've had quite enough of that, thanks anyway.

21. If I had the means ...
and was a younger man I'd follow you overseas, but it wouldn't be Turkey.

There is no doubt that our entire election process is a farce. A huge Dog & Pony Show with no dog, no pony and little to show. We've been regulated down to having a whole campaign consisting of 3 years worth of 30 second commercials and pundits who focus on the trivial as they spoon feed us who's ahead in skewed polling, and where those that speak to our needs and resonate with us the most are ignored, ridiculed and marginalized and finally Diebold finishes off the rest.

Those that become our so-called front-runners typically are the ones with the least in common with those they're supposed to represent. The ones with the most money, not the most commonsense. Those that can recite pretty sounding phrases produced by otherwise carnival barkers that have no real meaning but induce a false inspiration. The word "change" being the one of choice now, when the change we need is for them to hold those accountable for screwing-up the past. And we, as good little lemmings nod our heads in unison as we are lead to forget what got us into this situation and blindly accept those that will do nothing to really change anything. For if any of you think that the powers that be will allow true change to take place, I have a Timeshare I would like to sell you in beautiful downtown Baghdad.

Mark these words - we may not even have an election. Between the collapsing economy, and the very good probability that Bush will attack Iran and our lives could be turned into greater turmoil than we've ever experienced, Marshall Law could be exercised, for national security reasons, and elections postponed indefinitely. And/or another false-flag attack could propel one of the war-mongering rethugs into office and we continue on our path to Hell.

For those who say it can't happen, I've watched two presidential elections stolen, the murder of 3,000 citizens, the murder of Sen. Paul Wellstone, Anthrax sent to those that would dare question authority, the outing of and destruction of a covert operation that was working on stopping proliferation of WMD's, gagging of Sibel Edmonds, destruction of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, illegal wire-tapping, torture, kidnapping, illegal invasion of a two countries, no-bid contracts giving to war-profiteers, destruction of an American city, gutting of our treasury, phony investigations that produce nothing after it's evident crimes were committed, ignoring of subpoenas, destruction of evidence and much more WITH NO ONE BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

And not only are they getting away with said crimes these so-called candidates for the people don't even mention any of the above. It's as though we're suppose to forget all that and focus on the future. Well, let me inform you - there will be NO future if we don't rectify the past.

32. For Me... Let's Just Build A BOAT And Leave! I Agree With You...
If all things were "somewhat" fair and even, we "could" have a candidate who at least is fighting heart and soul, maybe not perfect, but a damn sight better than the stuff that's being "packaged and sold" to Americans.

I realize Edwards is a politician, but he's up against some heavy duty POWER up on that S--T Mountain that is throwing boulders down hill to stop him. At least he's TRYING to talk about issues, and what do we hear about him?? His hair and his house!

America is in for some serious trouble... but hey maybe Paris, Brittney or "the flavor of the month" will give us the BOOST we need!!

This my opinion, and I approve THIS MESSAGE!!
