1. K&R
So, it would seem that since The Supremes© have designated corporations as persons, it would also mean that corporations should be locked up in mental institutions. And in lieu of placing a series of incorporation papers behind bars, we'll have to use the Board of Directors as the corporation's surrogates.

- And it would also mean that those Supremes© who voted in favor of Citizens United identify with psychopaths and should be removed from the bench......

2. Just my own observation . . .
Running down the DSM-IV checklist and applying it to powerful politicians also exposes them as psychopathic. I would credit the Frat Boy as having been able to form enduring relationships, but everything else would be marked. Ditto the Big Dick. As a political animal, a politician may form temporary alliances that are useful to him over a period of time, but he still has a private life that features a wife and family. Perhaps Newtie the Cutie is the fellow we need to watch most carefully, since he is apparently unable to form an enduring relationship of any kind.

Corporations, however, are not human beings. They are institutions. A temporary alliance with other institutions or even some people is the only kind of relationship that can be formed, and that is only a relationship of convenience. We have seen over the last thirty years how a corporation betrays its relationship to its workers (downsizing and outsourcing), its retired workers (raiding pension funds) and even the nation (avoiding taxes that support the infrastructure it needs to operate smoothly). We can ask BP's roughnecks about how their employer feels about their safety. Of course, whining about OSHA regulations is not limited to oil companies.
