For those who didn't see it:

labor and management should stop fighting
companies should have the right to relocate, and should do it in the US
Boeing broke the law
they should be able to come to an agreement(boeing refuses too)

Remember, today is the DAY scott walkers unionbusting budget repair bill goes into effect.

3. Stop with the patronly "should" ideas... and start asserting your power for the people.

6. The new plant was in retaliation to past strikes

Boeing even said it. That is illegal and the NLRB took the proper action.

8. Fine, then let the courts make the final decision and see what can be done to keep the plant in the
US.

10. The second plant was to be in the USA (South Carolina)

The NLRB action does go to court next. Boeing has not obeyed the cease construction order as of yet.

11. bingo!! that's the only reason NLRB is involved. One of the best selling points
down south is " you got no union trouble down here"..

9. shit rolls down hill. Good union jobs up north have been moving south for thirty years,
only to increase profits to shareholders. Also Mr Obama, Germany is not in competition with us. Germany is 100% unionized. You were right on China though.

12. Election season is looming
Obama will get more from Boeing and the other defense contractors in campaign contributions than he will from unions, especially since he's speeding their demise. Those who rush to the president's defense should just go ahead and join the Republicans. They're singing the same anti-union song.

13. Whoa

Obama isn't perfect on labor. He is a better friend than Clinton was. IF he gets off his free trade position, gets behind EFCA in his second (no use now when we don't have the house now) term, and a few other things and he will be one of the best to labor.

HIS NLRB is kicking ass. Like on this issue.

14. Sorry amigo
I defer to you on the labor issues. I'm glad you feel this administration is doing some things right on that front. It's more of a cumulative thing in my case. What Al Gore said about his lack of support on environmental issues, failure to pursue banksters with fraud investigations. Lack of support by Interior for endangered species (but approval of GMO crops). EPA acting like apologists for BP, etc.

He's okay on social issues, but that's because there's no discernable corporate interest in DODT and abortion.

16. he doesn't believe in kicking ass on labor rights
He clearly doesn't like what his NLRB is doing right now, you can tell in this answer. He essentially says labor should cool it, so we can compete in the global economy.

EFCA in his second term? Less than a remote possibility imo. I see no sign that he even wants EFCA, much less fight the huge fight it would take to pass it.

15. Not a hater
As a Labor representative from Florida, I can only say that once again Obama has sold out the very union members who worked so tirelessly to get him elected. This comes not from a "hater", but from someone who is not blinded by the Obama mystique. It is not wrong for us to quite rightly point out when Obama does something that hurts working families. If we don't call him out when he works against the very people who elected him, we are no better than the Bushies who sat silently by for 8 long years while he destroyed the country, and only when he left office, half-heartedly criticized him. They are now known as Teabaggers.

19. Obama is fine as far as
DADT and abortion are concerned...

.Those issues divide the left and those minority elites who are the beneficiaries of his policies will support him financially as they move into and/or retain positions of power.
