2. That's a funny thing about the 9/11 commission report

In the 9/11 commission report I had to look twice at that testimony about when the sunni hijackers mention the nuclear plant that the airspace was to secure and to hard of a target to reach. So they decided to try the pentagon and the White House instead as targets very peculiar statement. Remember it was the sunni's hijackers lucky day 9/11 that they sure did not know the entire east coast air space was theirs for hours.

In a sense, though, it's different in the same way that Jon Stewart is funny and the Faux version was not. While it is fair to say that the truth resides somewhere on a sliding scale, the fact remains that Jon Stewart is telling the truth, and at the same time pointing fun at the RW for its lies. This video can be viewed the same way. The administration has resorted to fear mongering in an effort, successful so far it seems, to perpetrate any number of frauds. There never was any intention to take serious action to respond to the threats. It was never about the smoking gun or the WMD or impending nuclear holocaust. This video, on the other hand, is a not bad portrayal of what could happen as the result of failures on the part of this administration - encouraging the development of more nuclear power plants and failing to implement sufficient security measures to avoid the prospect highlighted in the video.

Or. . . we're being totally hypocritical, and as long as the propaganda is *our* propaganda, that's okay.
