6. I saw this live today!

My roommate was watching CNN and I was in the other room. I vaguely heard, "Blah, blah, blah, mmj legalization..." but the second they mentioned Tennessee mmj advocate, I knew right away who it was. I came running in to the room, pointing at the tv, saying, "I know that guy!! Well, not, know know, but he's on DU with me!"

Legalize it so this never happens to anyone again. It blows me away that the people who are so staunchly opposed to this are also the ones who want less government... The government reduced him to food stamps because of cannabis and now who is leading the charge to get these "lazy" people off welfare? Oh the exact ones who fucking put him on it in the first place.

I am a seed saver and swapper. I sent a big package of vegetable and flower seeds to Fly By Night in the spring after the flood on his land. I wonder if any of those beautiful vegetables are some from that package?

Good to see Fly get some national attention, what was done to him was wrong. Hopefully California will lead the way to ending these unjust laws.
My son just found out this week that he is no longer in remission (dermatomyositis) and I would love for him to be able to come home so I could care for him. Can't happen for many reasons one of which is the mj laws here in GA (my son is in CA).

respectable people like him coming out and admitting they use it and show that it is a helpful plant rather than a harmful drug. And explaining to th masses just why it is illegal in the first place. Education is the key.

marijuana available in NC. I have spasm associated with MS that are no longer completely controlled by the meds I take for them. Marijuana can be very effective for MS spasms. We had a bill but it died in committee and the sponsors got voted out. Shit. Guess we have to start from scratch. Hope it passes in Tennessee -- that will encourage NC. And I hope it passes in TN for Fly by Night -- he's been fighting a gallant battle at great personal cost.
