Not only because of his extensive background, but also because he was one of the few to accept an invitation to participate in John Conyers' forum discussing media bias a few years back... Only liberals showed up (I also remember Randi Rhodes and Cindy Sheehan) and it was held in the basement, since they weren't allowed to have a room... :grr:

John Conyers was out in front on this, like he is on so many things, and this is one issue that desperately needs to be addressed. Lack of truth telling in the media is the reason that people continue to vote against their best interests... but it's in the best interests of the RW to keep them in the dark. :grr:

20. KR 10 gazillion times and thats the most, in fantasy, I have ever rec'd anything.

This is by far and away the most important thing on the docket of this century; To get off our butts and go out and scream about. All the pragmatic odds and ends, be it votes or support of petition signings, or supporting legislation or anything and whatever, who and what is for and against it, are red meat to roast or savor, to kick in the pants or go ballistic; That lead to its becoming written in stone, of course, are equally as important. I can't thank Franken enough for not only getting it and getting on to it. Am sending money now, all that I can. Al needs all the support we can give him;

And I will never forget Reid's tepid support nor DLC's care-less actions against him during the debacle of his seating; Which never was in question as the Corporate press, DLC'ers DINO's and bluedogs, pretended it was; Over the weakest, bizarre and harebrained challenge by a lunatic and his opponent; Never shouting fowl and seating him or calling for his seating, which was their right under senate rules. The pugs would have seated one of theirs at the moment the last vote was counted or as close to that as humanly possible.
