April 30, 2010 — Here is the reason / cause behind the US oil spill by British Petroleum in 2010 off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico. George W Bush and Dick Cheney helped block a 2002/03 Bill that would have required the use of acoustic switches to activate the blow out protectors. When the rig blew up, they had to MANUALLY activate the switch by sending submersibles, but, the entire rig collapsed. Because the rig was STILL ATTACHED to the well head / BOP, it bent or damaged the BOP making it unusable. An acoustic switch would have allowed them to IMMEDIATELY stop the well head (activate the BOP) as soon as the explosion happened. Drill Baby, Drill! Spill Baby, Spill. Now, clean it the fock up!

3. The damage of the Bush wrecking crew
will continue years into the future. It was shortsighted and foolish to put the future of any company in the hands of these incompetents.

4. With all the stuff
that was done under Dubya/Shooter's administration nothing they come up with or happens surprises me. I just hate that they fucked it up and everyone expects our President to fix it in a jiffy. And these are the same people who don't want big government. And it seems like since they said that shit every kind of disaster natural and man made keep happening to those hard core repug states.Wild fires in California,Texas had quite a few things happen since then also, hurricanes, wild fires, flooding, oil refinery explosions twice, plane in IRS building and the Fort Hood Shooter.Mississippi had hurricanes and tornadoes. Oklahoma had wild fires and tornadoes.Alabama flooding, tornadoes and hurricane.Georgia flooding and water shortages in some areas.Tennessee Tornadoes and flooding.Kentucky flooding and tornadoes.Louisiana hurricane, flooding, tornadoes oil spill. Now that they have had the worst environmental disaster seen, all those gulf states will be suffering damage for years to come. And now they want Federal help. If I was President after all the things they said about me calling me every name in the book except Mr. President,I would tell them my government is too small to help them. Why don't you pick yourself up by your bootstraps (GOP rhetoric) and make it. There are plenty of people who start out with nothing and do well. But since our President is a man of distinction and won't hold a grudge or hold everyone in a state accountable for what others do, he is sending help. FEMA has been busy lately.

5. That is the hypocrisy of it all. they are against 'Big" government..except when it comes to helping
themselves....as they were against 'welfare" for the poorer..but corporate welfare is just fine.
