I know of one doctor, a podiatrist, who claimed he had done SURGERY on a patient's foot. He scraped a callus down. But he tried to bill the insurance for SIX GRAND by calling it surgery....

First let me start by saying there are some GREAT doctors out there. But seems As Cenk eluded too, what some of these doctors are afraid they won't be able to do do unessicary HIGH COST procedures that may not be needed? So in other words this bill would/could prevent them from doing surgery when maybe some pills or a shot would do?

Ya I can see why SOME doctors would be against this in that they are worried they can't do COSTLY procedures that may not be needed. Not to mention it kills me that these teabaggers etc claim "WWWAAA I don't want to government between me and my doctor" but are just fine and dandy with the INSURANCE companies between them and their doctors how many of you have had your doctors tell you something you need BUT you need to get it APPROVED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY FIRST! But thats fine huh? God these people are IDIOTS!!

This doctor is 63 and said he will terminate his practice before 2014, when he'll be 67. Hmmmm, sounds about like retirement age. What a douche.
