1. Thom tore that guy a new one
That guy didn't want to talk about debt as the driver behind the economy.

Reality is a tough pill.

8. ... at least I'd give him that he was honest
Most "captains of industry" still try to pretend that capitalism and democracy are synonymous, while in reality there are few things more antidemocratic than their savage vision of capitalism they want to shovel down our throats.

3. Steven Moore . . . ugh. CATO stooge douchenozzle.
Just another idiotic tool mouthpiece of Unbridled Corptocracy. Small wonder why this guy's a CNBC regular.

He's the author and/or editor of such right-on-the-money classics as (all titles are real, BTW):

Bullish On Bush: How George Bush's Ownership Society Will Make America Stronger (ShyAH . .. howz THAT workin' out for you? More like the "You're On You're Own"-ership society.)

Privatization: A Strategy for Taming the Deficit (OH boy . . . another spank-o-rama for the Libertarian sect)

The End of Prosperity: How Higher Taxes Will Doom the Economy--If We Let It Happen (Didn't seem to doom the economy from 1949 to 1973. The trend of lowering taxes while shipping blue and then white collar jobs the hell overseas . . . a product of YOUR party's philosophy, BTW, is what doomed the economy. Stupid)

It's Getting Better All the Time: 100 Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years (written in 2000, the start of one of the POOREST decade-long stretches of job growth in history. Need I remind Stevie WHAT happened last year under his party's watch???)

In the immortal words of Rodney Dangerfield, this guy really tells it like it AIN'T. Unbridled corporatism ruins far more lives than it enhances. And Stephen Moore remains a d-bag moron who, like all Republicans and Right-Leaning Libertarians, pseudo-intellectually tries to defend FAILURE . . . and in doing so, fails miserably. It's a comedy act where the joke's on US.

In America (at least for the common people) history is myth.

4. Stephen Moore
is an idiot and a liar. He says the last 30 years have been a time of unprecedented growth and prosperity for "working class Americans." Hey dumbass, you're an elitist lying asshole, just like most of the neo-cons. We can trace the working class wealth decline, honestly on google or wherever.. Clinton (one of the best rethug presidents we ever had) implemented the free trade agreements that allow these wealthy 1%'ers to gorge themselves on the money that should go to increase wages for the workers. It is sickening to listen to these wealth insulated know-nothings. If we do not re-distribute our country's wealth (America has the largest income disparity in the world), the eventual outcome will be revolution. I want a non-violent, revolution that cancels the free trade acts and taxes the hell (pre-Raygun tax structure) out of the excesses of the wealthy. I pray that President Obama "finds" his inner F.D.R., and takes charge of restoring the economic inequalities that have been increasing since the Raygun presidency..

6. K&R. Thanks for exposing Moore's ridiculous ideas.
This type of guy thinks I should be happy because Bill Gates and I have an average net worth in the billions.
