3. At Least We Know Who Obama Had Lunch With
Contrast that with Dick Cheney and the oil executives and lobbyests Cheney met with regularily in drafting the Bush energy bill. To this day we do not know who they were.

4. unseemly. that's my take.
just because Bush and FoxNews/Rush Limbaugh had their circle jerk doesn't mean I approve of something similar on the Obama/MSNBC side.

5. Can't agree with you here, because lefties were never invited to
the WH.

Normally, I would agree, but in this case, I'm glad that voices from the left are being given a chance to be heard.

6. Obama talks to Conservative Columnists too. Kathleen Parker, Geo Will etc. (JUST NOT THE CRAZY ONES)
Edited on Fri Oct-23-09 05:57 AM by emulatorloo
Because it would be pointless to talk to Malkin and her ilk.

Additionally neither maddow or olbermann are blind cheerleaders. I am happy Obama may have gotten to hear their views on Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Torture Prosecutions, etc etc.

7. KO certainly implied he said something on topics with which Obama might not agree.
On Worst Person in the World, he got angry at Tucker Carlson for implying he's some sort of White House yes-man, and you could tell his anger was coming out, because he started to unload about the things he discussed with Obama Monday where he obviously did not approve of what the man is or isn't doing so far.

I think KO is getting very weary of being equated to the wingnut contingent of media talkers full of sound and fury signifying nothing, every time some journalist wants to write about them and feels the need to "balance" out the story by implying that the lefty talkers are just as bad as righty ones and have just as much disregard for facts and truth. I saw another of those articles just this past weekend, and they even dragged Ed Schultz into the mix as just another "media loudmouth" who is cluttering up the airwaves with noise rather than information. It's disgusting how they equate the likes of him, KO and Rachel with Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, Malkin, etc.

It angered KO that ClusterFox is trying to paint him as an Obama cheerleader when there are issues he strongly feels Obama hasn't done enough about or taken a stronger stance on, and when he JUST SAID SO RIGHT TO OBAMA'S FACE when given the opportunity.

8. Have to agree.
Also, it doesn't do Keith or Rachel any good to appear as though they are pawns of the administration. Not saying they are, but appearances count for much (maybe too much) in politics and journalism.
